Fully charged, the BMW i5 Touring has a range of up to 548 km (WLTP)[1]. Ideal for everyday driving. But longer journeys are not an issue with this range either.
It depends on the charging station you use. It will take around 8.5 hours if you connect your BMW i5 eDrive40 Touring to an 11 kW AC Wallbox. The fastest way to charge the BMW i5 eDrive40 Touring is a direct current (DC) charging station with a maximum of 205 kW. It lets you charge the battery from 10 to 80% in just 30 minutes.
The BMW i5 Touring is a high-performance electric vehicle producing an impressive 250 kW (340 hp) and a torque of 4000 Nm, thereby accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds. Official data for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range was determined in accordance with the prescribed measuring procedure and corresponds to European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the applicable version. For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case). For vehicles that have been newly type approved since 1 January 2021, only the official data according to WLTP exists. In addition, NEDC values are deleted from the certificates of conformity as of 1 January 2023 by EC regulation 2022/195.
