The BMW i5 M60 xDrive is the most powerful and most athletic version of the BMW i5. It has been designed for an especially dynamic performance. It accelerates to 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds. It also has M Sport brakes and Adaptive suspension Professional. In terms of appearance, dynamics, power and athletic character are underpinned in many details such as the M kidney grille, the M exterior mirrors or the exclusive M wheels.

A fast-charging station using direct current (DC) is able to charge the vehicle with a maximum of 205 kW. With this option, it is possible to raise the available battery capacity from 10 to 80% in only 30 minutes. At a charging point such as a Wallbox with 11 kW alternating current (AC), the charging time is 8.25 hours. With 22 kW the charging process is halved to 4.25 hours.
